On the 8TH Gary , Jean and Bev all held steady at PAR , while Ann had the lone BOGEY …
On to the 9TH Jean and Gary both BIRDIED … With Gary having an excellent Eagle opportunity but despite pullin’ a Jack Nicklaus and spendin’ a week linin’ up his attempt had to ‘ settle ‘ for a BIRDIE …
We’ll see today if Gary can get back into the green numbers …
Gary did indeed find green and got the lone BIRDIE today and combined with back to back BOGIES from BEV put the two in a tie atop the leaderboard …
Jean , holding steady with PAR , climbs up a notch into 3rd place at 4 over and Ann drops to 7 over with a DOUBLE BOGEY …
Bev’s Back On Track !!! …
Well … There’s been 5 Birdies in the tournament so far … And they’re ALL on Bev’s card !!! … Aside from Gary’s lone Eagle … Not much green happenin’ so far !!! …
Jean and Gary both PARRED … Ann BOGEYED … But still no result from her on the 6TH hole … Or if she even played it ! … The Rules Committee is mulling over the options on that one …

The Third Major Of The Season
We’ve begun play overseas in Ann’s neck of the woods ! … Hopefully the ( closer to home ) course advantage gets her on the right track … And she makes a run up the leaderboard …
There wasn’t much action on the opening hole … Gary and Bev both PARRED … While Jean and Ann ran into a bit of trouble and carded BOGIES …
On the 2nd hole … It livened up a bit ! … Tho Gary was steady with another PAR … Bev dropped the first BIRDIE of the tourney ! … Meanwhile , Ann managed to save PAR … BUT Jean ran into all kinds of trouble with the putter and carded a TRIPLE BOGEY !!! …
Jean settled things down playing the third and scored a PAR … As did Ann … While Bev began a BIRDIE streak , with two in a row … Gary , who wasn’t impressed with his drive , just swung wildly and it worked out for him as he scores the tourney’s first eagle !!! …

Bev adds another trophy to her cabinet ! … But I think the entire field had more than enough of that course ! … Bizarre choices !!! …
Also … Since the concurrently playing of the Britsh Open Championship , at St. Andrews in Scotland , the 3rd ( of 4 ) MWGA majors will be themed a little closer to Ann … Hopefully inspiring some enthusiasm and encouragement to stick with it …
